103-1 WRNR has an immediate opening for a senior sales executive with the skills to maximize revenue with existing WRNR customers and generate new business and clients for the station.  Responsibilities include working actively in prospecting for new business, setting appointments, information gathering, written/oral presentations, closing sales, servicing clients, and creating/developing advertising concepts for both broadcast and digital platforms. Experienced in managing multiple projects and the drive to earn exceptional income are mandatory. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation mandatory. College degree or 2 years broadcast sales.

If you are a college student interested in pursuing a career in radio/media/sales, and looking for hands-on experience in radio, then this Sales internship may be for you. Learn the inner workings of a radio station, providing exposure to sales, promotions and the roles every department plays in the daily operation of the station.

Intern responsibilities include:

Sales

*experience relationship between programming, promotions and sales departments
*assist in creation of ad copy and marketing events
*learn importance of interaction between advertisers and radio station
*assemble media kits and sales proposals for client presentations

Promotions :
*assist in coordinating promotional activities and daily office management

Miscellaneous : 
* filing, copying, updating media/listener lists
*front office reception
